THE LIBERATING FIRE: Yoga through the Tantric Lens

A two-Part Introductory Online Immersion

10.30 AM - 12.30 PM GMT / 4 PM - 6 PM IST VIA ZOOM.

Sunday 18 January + Sunday 1 February, 2026

Recordings will be available until 12 March, 2026.

This two-part immersion opens the heart of yoga through a traditional tantric lens, where philosophy and embodied practice come together in a way that is grounded, intelligent and transformative. Rather than approaching Tantra as a concept to understand, this offering invites you into a lived exploration of how awareness, energy and embodiment shape our experience.

Each session offers clear teachings alongside embodied inquiry, so the depth of this path is felt rather than simply understood. We move from foundation into fire and heart, exploring the descent and ascent of śakti, and return with a steadier sense of centre, clarity and orientation in practice and life.

This immersion has been shaped for dedicated practitioners and teachers who are drawn to depth, integrity and inner coherence. It supports those who wish to refine their own inner work while adding philosophical clarity, embodied sensitivity and grounded presence to how they practise and teach.

This is not an asana class or a technique-heavy training. Movement, breath, sound and subtle awareness are used as supports for inquiry, perception and integration, allowing the teachings to land in the nervous system as well as the mind.

The Liberating Fire is as an introductory doorway into this work.

This series distills essential Tantric principles into a live, embodied format that prioritises presence, perception and lived understanding.

Longer immersions and in-person retreats will follow.

SESSION ONE: THE DESCENT

Foundation, Grounding & the Architecture of Tantra

This first session establishes the ground of Tantric practice. We begin by orienting toward the body as the primary field of awareness and inquiry, exploring why descent and grounding are essential before any awakening or expansion can occur.

You will be introduced to the foundational architecture of Tantra, including the dynamic relationship of Śiva and Śakti, the movement of consciousness into form, and the subtle pulsation that underlies experience. Gaṇeśa is approached as a stabilising threshold, supporting clarity, steadiness and intelligent presence.

Through teaching, breath, sound and gentle embodied exploration, we begin to sense the subtle body and cultivate a felt relationship with awareness. This session prioritises stability, perception and inner orientation, creating the conditions for deeper work to unfold safely and meaningfully.

You can expect to leave feeling more grounded, receptive and clear, with a lived sense of Tantra as something embodied rather than conceptual.

SESSION TWO: THE FIRE

Inner Radiance, Transformation & Living Tantra

With a stable foundation in place, the second session turns toward the inner fire of Tantric practice. Here we explore fire not as intensity or force, but as clarity, radiance and the power of conscious transformation.

We work with the heart as a central meeting place between human experience and subtle intelligence, and explore how śakti rises naturally when the body and nervous system are resourced. Through accessible embodied practice, breath and mantra, we investigate how transformation happens through awareness rather than effort.

This session also looks at what it means to live Tantra beyond the mat, how perception shifts, how the sacred is recognised in everyday life, and how practice informs the way we relate, teach and respond.

You can expect to leave with a clearer sense of inner coherence, renewed vitality, and a deeper understanding of how Tantric principles live through the body and into daily life.
