Embodied Yoga Ritual

Welcome to an evening of sacred celebration and embodied yoga practice under the Full Moon.

Mischa and Amisha will move you through a layered practice of creative yoga asana, mantra, mudra and meditation to bring clarity and focus to the mind and open the heart. As the practice builds you will be guided deeply into your body to reawaken the connection to yourself and one another. The practice will be approached with the reverence of ceremony and ritual to bring awareness to the sacred nature of our being through conscious movement, sound and breath.

This full moon marks the festival of Guru Purnima which celebrates the Guru, that which removes darkness. It offers an opportunity to honour the source of wisdom, the sacred teachings and those whom they have been passed down through. This yoga ritual will offer a space to strengthen the devotional quality of the practice and both honour the roots of the yoga tradition as well as all of the teachers in our lives, in the multitude of shapes, forms and lessons that they show themselves in.

A full moon is also a time for letting go, and you will also work to release stuck energy, ideas and patterns through the crafting of intention and guided journaling.

The evening will close with a deep energy healing savasana bringing your whole system back into balance.

Amisha & Mischa are yoga teachers & priestesses with a mutual love & motivation towards the discovery of yoga as both teachers & students. They have spent time in India together visiting temples and deepening their practice and continue to inspire and compliment one another with their passion and curiosity to challenge themselves, each other and their students towards growth.

They love to teach together and offer retreats and workshops combining Yoga, Meditation, Healing, Ritual, Dance, Sacred Sound & Earth Prayer.
