EMBER

EMBER

A 15-day autumn immersion in ritual, embodied Tantra & inner fire

1–15 November 2026
with seven days of integration: 16–22 November

Three live Sunday ceremonies · Daily practices · Ritual · Meditation · Kriya · Fascial & somatic work · Mantra · Tantric contemplation

FIRE CHANGES WHAT IT TOUCHES.

It transforms.

Across the Tantric traditions, fire offers a powerful language and vehicle for transformation and not only destruction or purification, but also the capacity to digest, refine, illuminate and change what it meets.

Fire is a force to be reckoned with yet its transformative power also shows us how experience can be metabolised, refined and brought into greater awareness.

Both the Tantrik and Yogic teachings reveal pathways of understanding and practice which guide us to harness, tend and stabilise the flame.

And here lies the alchemy of fire. Through agni which digests, tejas that illuminates, tapas which generates the heat through which transformation becomes possible. And of course śakti, the living power moving within it all!

The jewel of the Tantrik way is that it recognises the body as the living vessel of transformation and transformation, as a movement of aliveness or of consciousness. Change, flux, ebb and flow, shedding and decay, emptying, endings and beginnings, growth and expansion, can all be found inside our field of awareness and is both essential and belongs.

And, Tantra wants us to lean in and embrace and know the experience of being alive. Tantra does not require us to step away from the complexity of being human in order to awaken and this is.

We will gather during this darkening threshold of the year and dive deep into warming, cleansing and enlightening practice and inquiry to stoke the inner fire and become more intimate within ourselves.

Deeper embodiment is the way through the dark and gives us the foundation and quality of presence and vitality to see what is there, to feel what is moving, to recognise where there is contraction and to allow what is ready, to be transformed.

EMBER is an invitation to enter this process consciously and in community.

A 15-day autumn immersion held within the threshold of darkness, exploring Tantra through ritual, meditation, kriya, fascial and somatic practice, mantra and contemplation.

WHAT IS EMBER

EMBER is a Tantric immersion for those who want to slow down, turn inward, enter into practice and work with the particular intelligence of this time of year.

The days are short, the nights long and the year is turning as Autumn gives way towards the depths of Winter.

This is a season of descent and a time when the veil between the seen and unseen feels thinner; when the darkness invites us into mystery, remembrance and listening.

Our 15-day portal begins in the wake of Samhain, entering the descent towards Winter and a time traditionally associated with honouring what has died, what is dying, and what has not yet taken form.

From here, we move towards Diwali and the lighting of the lamp, towards illumination, and the light that emerges within the darkness.

These are both powerful opportunities to listen into the mystery.

And Tantra is just this: a turning towards what is unknown, and a lighting of the flame of awareness inside the darkness.

We are blessed to have two potent and distinct spiritual passageways at this time of year, creating a rich landscape through which to explore the Tantric relationship between darkness and light, stillness and dynamism, dissolution and emergence, death and renewal.

The journey of EMBER uses this seasonal landscape as a container for a deeper exploration of something that sits at the heart of Tantric practice:

What happens when we become willing to meet change consciously?

THE TANTRIC THREAD

At the heart of Ember is Tantra as a profound philosophy and practice of embodied awareness that embraces the world, the body and the complexity of the human experience in order to awaken.

We will work with teachings held within the tantric view such as śakti, spanda, agni, tapas and tejas, with curiosity to discover how even when areas in life that feel stuck, obscured or constricted, they can become the place of practice and awakening,

Our practice becomes a way of participating in transformation rather than simply thinking about

THREE LIVE PRACTICE SESSIONS

There is such juice and support and depth when we practice together, even through the zoom space, and the foundation of this journey will be held inside of 3 x 90 minutes ceremonial practice sessions on Sunday 1, 8 and 15 November.

These live sessions will include teaching transmissions, kriya, breath, mantra, meditation and ritual.

The daily micro-practices throughout the days in-between will be shared with you as we go, unfolding progressively and offering you something to work with each day.

This might be a teaching, a meditation, a kriya or breath practice, a mantra, some movement or fascial work.

KEEP THE EMBER

16–22 November

The formal immersion ends on 15 November.

For the following seven days, Keep the Ember offers a simple period of integration with daily reflection and invitations to integrate the practices and carry the ember forward.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK WITH

EMBER weaves together several different languages of practice.

TANTRA

Teachings from the Tantric tradition provide the philosophical and contemplative foundation of the immersion.

MEDITATION

Practices for becoming intimate with awareness itself - to connect to the dynamic pulse of Creative Power and the underlying stillness whilst also learning to notice rather than immediately interpret or react.

KRIYA

Energetic practices to work with breath and inner fire to cultivate attention, clarity and both stillness and the movement of Śakti through the body.

FASCIAL & SOMATIC PRACTICE

Embodied work to soften unnecessary holding, increase sensitivity and create greater space for awareness including yoga asana to strengthen and align, and intuitive movement and guided patterns of movement to open and free the fascial pathways and energy lines of the body systems.

MANTRA

Recitation of sacred Sanskrit mantras and devotional chanting as practice, attention and a way of entering a different quality of presence and activation of the voice and offering of the prayer.

RITUAL

Intentional acts and offerings that enrich meaning into simple actions, mark transition, focus attention and bring the invisible into relationship with the tangible.

CONTEMPLATION

Questions and teachings that invite you not simply to understand Tantra intellectually, but to encounter it through your own experience.

WHAT MAKES EMBER DIFFERENT?

Ember is an online immersion through which to explore tantra, yoga and a range of tools and practices to support you and, integrate into your life in a simple and meaningful way.

EMBER is not designed as a challenge or promise of overnight transformation. Rather it is curated to create a contained field of practice formed of 15 days of led practice and inquiry and being in relationship with a teaching and a rhythm.

Three live ceremonial practices mark the major thresholds.

The days in-between will be gently held by myself and you will receive accessible daily micro practices ranging between 5-15 minutes exploring individual practices and tools including pranayama, kriya, mantra and movement ~ all as ritual and ceremony of practice!

Ember is a weaving of Tantra and embodied practice with space for your own experience to become part of the teaching.

A NOTE FROM MISCHA

EMBER has grown out of years of teaching yoga, studying and practising Traditional Tantra, working with the body and exploring what it actually means to bring spiritual practice into a fully lived human life.

I am less interested in spirituality as an escape from being human and more curious to discover what happens when practice brings us closer to our experience. How it might deepen our relationship with the body, open our awareness, bring us closer to what is actually happening and to the places we might otherwise avoid. And, reveal to us the extraordinary intelligence that can emerge when we stop trying to separate the sacred from the ordinary.

EMBER is an evolution and offering of this work.

It is shared in a smaller, more intimate container so that we can also stay close together in this entering into.
